EMCF Becomes a Core Funder of Fund for Shared Insight

The Edna McConnell Clark Foundation has supported the Fund for Shared Insight for several years by co-funding Listen for Good and referring nonprofits that want to improve how they listen to the people they serve.

We are happy to announce that we have increased our support by becoming a core funder of the initiative.

“We are excited to join our funder colleagues and support Fund for Shared Insight,” says Lissette Rodriguez, EMCF’s vice president and chief program officer. “We believe it’s critical that foundations and nonprofits strengthen how they listen so that they meaningfully connect with the people, organizations, and communities they seek to help and be more responsive to their needs.”

The fund has made 132 grants to nonprofits, including three EMCF grantees:

  • Center for Employment Opportunities
  • PACE Center for Girls
  • Talent Development Secondary

One Blue Meridian Partners grantee:

  • Nurse-Family Partnership

And seven PropelNext grantees:

  • Blue Engine
  • Colorado Youth for a Change
  • Domus
  • DREAM
  • New Door Ventures
  • UTEC
  • Youth Services of Tulsa
