Rowena Taylor has more than ten years experience as an human resources practitioner in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Prior to her arrival to the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation, she served as associate director of human resources at Barnard College, and earlier, as human resources manager at The Battery Park City Parks Conservancy. She also spent significant time on the corporate side, as human resources manager for the New York office of Russell Investments (formerly Frank Russell Company), an investment consulting, research, and advisory service firm.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from York College (C.U.N.Y.) and has completed coursework towards a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY.
