Congreso de Latinos Unidos (Congreso) is a nationally recognized, community-based organization that has been strengthening Latino communities in Philadelphia for over 30 years. Since its inception in 1977, Congreso has grown to be a leading provider of education, employment, and supportive services to tens of thousands of individuals and families living in Philadelphia's neighborhoods. Its vision is to "transform people's lives by providing them with the tools to move up the economic ladder and out of poverty."

EMCF Investment & Business Plan Highlights
Since 2006, the Foundation has invested $5.5 million in Congreso to help develop and implement its business plan.
By 2011, Congreso plans to serve approximately 11,000 youth in all its programs, realign its programs by integrating a network of evidence-based services to better serve the needs of its constituents, and implement a client management system that will enable the organization to track outcomes for all participants.
