The CAS-Carrera Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program is in the midst of executing its strategic growth plan, which will increase its service capacity 150 percent by 2010, serving over 2,000 youth annually. Current program replications and expansion plans are concentrated in communities of greatest need, working with youth in underserved, impoverished environments that have higher rates of teen pregnancy than the national average. Expansion efforts will penetrate such regions more deeply and broadly by adding new programs and serving multiple cohorts in key cities such as Washington, DC. Year-to-year projections for youth served and revenue targets can be found in the CAS-Carrera Program’s Performance Report.
To support the continued expansion of this national program model, CAS-Carrera has developed Regional Implementation Centers (RICs), which provide a local infrastructure to manage the quality of replications and ensure fidelity to the program model.
