Youth Guidance

Plans for Growth

Youth Guidance’s FY2017-FY2020 business plan calls for:

  • Expanding the Becoming a Man program significantly in Chicago, from serving a projected 4,000 youth in 2017 to 9,430 by FY20.
  • Launching at least two BAM pilots in other cities to lay the groundwork for growth outside Chicago, including a direct replication in Boston and a licensed program in a city yet to be determined.
  • Expanding the Working on Womanhood program as quickly as possible by 750 girls to achieve sufficient scale for a rigorous evaluation. Youth Guidance hopes to leverage national funder interest, piqued by the success of BAM, in complementary programming for girls.
