Green Dot, with strong support from community leaders and educators, plans to open 20 more schools by 2010, serving 16,000 students each year at full scale. Green Dot will open these schools as part of School Transformations, a process created by Green Dot to restructure large, overcrowded urban high schools into small, safe, high-performing schools. To date, two School Transformations have been initiated at Jefferson High School in South Los Angeles and Locke High School in Watts.
Green Dot's past performance and latest projections for youth served, revenue and other metrics can be found in Green Dot's Performance and Projections Report.
