He oversees and advances the finances, administration and operations of EMCF and all of its current investment strategies: the Youth Development Fund, PropelNext and Blue Meridian Partners. This includes financial modeling, planning and reporting; budget development; grants management and reporting on grantees’ and the Foundation’s performance; accounting, tax, audit and investment management; human resources; information technology; and facilities. As a member of EMCF’s leadership team, Stefano also helps guide the development of the Foundation’s programs, policy and strategy. An Officer of the Foundation, he acts as its Assistant Treasurer.
Before joining the Foundation, Stefano held financial management positions at for-profit and nonprofit organizations, including Community Access, a developer and service provider of housing for the homeless and mentally ill; Veritas, an operator of community-based residential drug rehabilitation centers; and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, a national housing intermediary.
He has served on several nonprofit boards and volunteers for various causes.
Stefano earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Pace University and passed the CPA exam.
